This policy explains what personal information Shofykart collects when you use shofykart.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it. Shofykart is based in Berhampore, Murshidabad, West Bengal, India.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Account details — your first and last name, email address, phone number, password and, if you upload one, a profile picture.
• Delivery and billing details — street address, city, state, PIN code and country, and a company name if you provide one.
• Order details — the products you order, order value, chosen payment method and order history.
• Communications — support tickets, messages and any files you attach, plus product reviews you post.
• Newsletter — your email address, if you choose to subscribe.

Information collected automatically

• Basic technical data needed to serve the site, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, recorded in standard server logs.

Your password is never stored in readable form — it is stored only as a cryptographic hash.

2. Payment information

We currently accept Cash on Delivery and Razorpay.

If you pay by card, UPI, net banking or wallet, that payment is processed by Razorpay on their own secure systems. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or banking password. We receive only a transaction reference and whether the payment succeeded or failed. Razorpay handles your payment data under their own privacy policy.

If you choose Cash on Delivery, no payment details are collected at all.

3. How we use your information

• To process, pack, deliver and invoice your orders
• To create and maintain your account and let you sign in
• To contact you about an order, delivery or a question you have raised
• To handle returns, replacements and warranty claims
• To send newsletters, only if you have subscribed
• To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and misuse, and meet our legal and tax obligations

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not use it for profiling.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are necessary for the site to work:

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in and remembers your shopping cart as you move between pages.
• Security token — protects forms against cross-site request forgery.

We do not currently run advertising or analytics cookies on this site. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies, but the site will not function correctly without the cookies listed above.

5. Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it. We share it only where it is needed to run the service:

• Payment processing — Razorpay, for online payments.
• Delivery — our delivery staff and courier partners receive your name, address and phone number so they can deliver your order.
• Hosting and infrastructure — our web hosting provider and Cloudflare, which delivers and protects the site.
• Legal requirements — where we are required to disclose information by law, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your account information for as long as your account is open. Order and invoice records are kept for as long as required for warranty, accounting and tax purposes. If you ask us to delete your account, we will remove your personal details but may need to retain order records required by law.

7. How we protect your information

The site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. Passwords are stored hashed, administrative access is restricted, and uploaded files are restricted so that they cannot be executed on our servers. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information and to respond promptly if a problem is identified.

8. Your rights

You may ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that is wrong or out of date
• Delete your account and personal information, subject to records we must keep by law
• Stop sending you newsletters — you can unsubscribe at any time

You can update most of your details yourself from your account page. For anything else, contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable period.

9. Children

This site is not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Please check back occasionally.
